DELIVERED BY A DYNAMIC & DIVERSE
Creative Director of the Change Makers PDC, Annaliese, is passionate about permaculture, sustainability and community development with a strong focus on ethnobotanical research and plant-based lifestyle.
Rupert is a polymath that diligently follows his curiosity. He is as good with his hands as he is with his head and is a specialist in conceptual planning, systems thinking and making things happen.
Erin helps purpose-led people access tools to activate group intelligence, transforming inspiration into a positive impact. Collaborative decision-making and governance tools and holistic design for people's systems are her primary frameworks; all nature-inspired and informed.
As a Permaculture Consultant and Coach Jay ensures that landscape designs meet clients' visions, obtain on ground outcomes and handle the puzzle work of timelines, budgets, suppliers, managing workers and meeting deadlines.
The Perma Pixie
Taj is motivated to inspire people to live more regenerative lifestyles with a deep connection to nature. Using her skills of Permaculture and Herbalism, she reminds those wishing for a deeper sense of purpose that individual and collective action can generate change and reformat the current state of humanity.
Barefoot Sustainable Design
As an award-winning architect, artisan, builder and keen permaculturist, his interest in natural materials has led him on a global search for grassroots green design. Along the way, he has fortified his skills in integrated food systems, ecological sewage design and a gambit of natural building practices including bamboo, earth and straw.
LOCATION: CRYSTAL WATERS ECO-VILLAGE
Located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland, Australia, Crystal Waters is an environmentally and socially responsible rural community, designed using permaculture principles.
With a community of over 230 people living in the village, it is continually evolving, physically and socially and provides an excellent living example of permaculture design and community.
The course dates have been specifically chosen to align with the monthly community market which you will get to experience first hand.
Our primary learning space is the Eco-Centre. A purpose built solar passive facility with several areas; indoor, outdoor on the verandah and breakout spaces outside.
The space lends itself perfectly to the learning experience for Participants to get the most from the PDC. The EcoCentre has a Kitchenette for refreshments and filtered water supply. The wide north-facing Verandah overlooks the Village Centre, the main Kitchen & The Deck with the Blackall Range to the East.
ACTION: IN THE FIELD
One of the big features that makes our PDC different from all the others is the amount of field experiences and permaculture action we do.

I'm really looking at the way these guys construct a lesson, and how they deliver the lessons, and I think these guys are exceptional at it, all of them, they are really great.
The facilitators who are holding this space and sharing the knowledge are just so inspiring and embodied with what they are teaching.
This is just what I needed to find a positive way forward, because it's one thing to protest about whats going on, but it's another thing to take action about it.
